Word from the writer, Director

Janani: The Last Stand is an unfortunate story that needs to be told and there’s no better person to tell it other than me.
WHY?
I’m at that point in my life where I need to do films that leave lasting impressions on an audience. I’d like to tell stories about people that have helped shape our societies to what they are today. Africa has for a while lacked filmmakers that help archive historic events of their nations through film and
wait for Hollywood to come in.
These stories are dear to me especially because Janani Luwum is celebrated every year and he was the special person that stood up to Idi Amin during his presidency.
I believe I have what it takes to do justice to this story especially after the extensive research that I’ve done on the subject coupled with my experience in directing films.
